Position Overview: As a Tutor and PSHE Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality tutoring sessions tailored to meet the individual needs of students, as well as teaching Personal, Social, Health, and Economic (PSHE) education to enhance their personal development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to students, focusing on areas of academic need and skill development.
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PSHE lessons that promote the development of students' social, emotional, and life skills.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters positive relationships.
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to develop and implement effective strategies to support students with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary to meet individual learning goals.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (PGCE or QTS desirable).
Previous experience working with students with challenging behaviour and/or SEMH needs in an educational or therapeutic setting.
Strong understanding of child development, behaviour management techniques, and effective teaching strategies for diverse learners.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
