An exciting opportunity awaits a motivated and skilled Audit and Accounts Senior / Semi Senior to join a leading and rapidly growing accountancy and business advisory firm, listed in the Top 100 Accountancy Firms. This role offers a chance to make an impact within a dynamic Corporate Services team, delivering high-quality audit, accounting, and business advisory services across sectors including education, agriculture, non-profit, and property development.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver audit and account services, supporting clients with compliance, planning, and ad hoc projects
Review and prepare client accounts, tax, and VAT work, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Conduct audit assignments both remotely and on-site
Engage in technical audit, accounting, and taxation compliance for corporate clients
Offer value-added services by identifying and communicating opportunities for additional support
Supervise and coach trainees, overseeing assignments and ensuring quality work
Use software tools like Xero and CCH to support complex client queries and prepare tax returns
Engage in networking activities and assist with client seminarsRequirements:
Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified (or part-qualified), or AAT qualified
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a practice environment, with cloud accounting software (such as Xero) preferred
Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, computer literacy, and a quick-thinking approach to account preparation
Personal Qualities: Exceptional communication skills, proactive attitude, high confidentiality, resilience, and a knack for networkingAdditional Requirements:
A valid UK driving license with access to a vehicle for client travel
