As part of the Derby Homes team, you'll be contributing to creating beautiful, well-maintained homes for our customers.

Job Title: Painter
Location: Derby, DE24
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £15 per hour

Responsibilities:

* Complete painting work for customers’ homes to a high standard.

* Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, and sanding before painting.

* Apply primers, paints, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces.

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the job.

* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.

* Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction with the work.

* Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.

Qualifications:

* MUST hold NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating or City and Guilds in Painting and Decorating.

* Proven experience in painting and decorating, ideally within a residential or domestic setting.

* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

* Own transport and a full UK driving license are required.

Additional Information:

The role is based at Derby Homes on London Road, so the ideal candidate must be able to travel to various locations across the Derby area.

A full-time, 37.5-hour work week with a competitive pay rate of £15 per hour
