Sales Engineer - Milton Keynes - Up to £40K (Negotiable)
Our client is a leading independent supplier of Power Protection equipment with these systems ranging from standard to complex systems and are supplied to many industries including Defence, Marine, Power, Water etc.
* We are looking to recruit a Sales Engineer to assist with all aspects of their sales and lead generation, to find opportunities for growth within targeted industrial sectors, and maintain relationships with key accounts.
* To produce commercial and technical proposals in response to customer enquiries.
* To discover new opportunities and contacts in targeted market sectors – There will be a bias to building contacts and projects within the Marine industry.
* Follow up quotations and close business.
* Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
* Involvement in research and development and marketing.
* Monitor and interact with tendering portals and report on opportunities that are of interest.
* Attend meetings with the customer at their site or offices across the UK.
Skills, knowledge, and experience
* Excellent communicator at all levels to negotiate best outcomes for the company.
* Must be able to work individually whilst being a member of a small team.
* Tasks and priorities are allocated by the Sales Manager.
* Weekly liaison occurs with other members of the Company.
* Experience is a previous sales position is preferable
* Knowledge and understanding of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) would be beneficial.
* Hold full UK Driver’s License.

* Organized individual with good communications skills.
* Successful candidates will be required to successfully complete DBS and BPSS security checks
