Are you an experienced professional in deposit operations ready to take the lead at an innovative challenger bank? We're seeking a dynamic Deposit Operations Lead to oversee our Savings and Current Accounts, ensuring excellence in daily operations, customer interactions, and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do:

* Operational Management:

* Lead all aspects of deposit operations from origination to maturity.

* Develop and implement policies and procedures to boost efficiency and quality.

* Analyze performance metrics to drive improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.

* Collaborate with sales, legal, compliance, finance, and risk management teams.

* Monitor operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.

* Manage rate changes, product launches, and ensure documentation accuracy.

* Oversee product forecasting and performance analytics.

* Compliance and Risk Management:

* Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

* Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and internal policies.

* Identify and mitigate operational risks in collaboration with the risk management team.

* Implement effective controls and audit trails for a robust control environment.

* Team Leadership and Development:

* Lead, coach, and support a team of deposit operations professionals.

* Foster a positive team culture and encourage collaboration.

* Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs for continuous improvement.

* Relationship Management:

* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and regulatory bodies.

* Address customer escalations or complaints promptly and effectively.

* Technology and Automation:

* Leverage technology and automation tools to optimize operations.

What We're Looking For:

* Strong commercial experience in a financial institution or in UK deposits.

* Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field; professional certifications are a plus.

* Deep knowledge of deposit operations and payment flows.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency in core banking platforms and understanding of payment schemes and open banking.

* High level of integrity and commitment to compliance and risk management.
