Job Title – Retirement Housing Advisor
Location – Eastbourne and Lewes
Contract – Temporary
Hours – 37 hours per week
Salary – £18.76 per hour (umbrella rate)
Role Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Retirement Housing Advisor to join our team, delivering an efficient and effective tenancy management service for older and vulnerable tenants. You will support residents in maintaining their independence, respond to customer concerns, liaise with partner agencies, and ensure statutory landlord and health & safety requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tenancy management support to older and vulnerable residents.
Conduct safeguarding assessments and make referrals where necessary.
Ensure health and safety standards within retirement housing schemes.
Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR regulations.
Offer guidance to tenants on housing-related matters.
Promote self-service options and digital inclusion among tenants.Requirements:

Previous experience in social housing or a similar customer-facing role.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work sensitively with vulnerable individuals.
Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and housing regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
