Engineering Manager - Winchester - Up to £74,000 (DOE) - Nuclear

My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead their engineering team in the delivery of cutting-edge nuclear engineering projects. As a key member of the management team, you will oversee the engineering design, development, and delivery of bespoke nuclear solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and a track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects.

The Role:

To implement the engineering delivery strategy for an assigned project, communicating project status, issues or changes that could impact engineering delivery performance.
To manage the interfaces between the multi-discipline engineering teams.
To provide input into overall engineering progress, resource management and client engagement on an assigned project.
To identify and manage change, ensuring it is recorded and processed in accordance with the contract.
To provide review and reporting of technical progress on an assigned project, both internally and to external stakeholders
To assess the technical output of the project's suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure cost effective, on time and fit for purpose output.
To provide technical and line management of the engineering team for an assigned project.
To assist in aspects of running and continuously improving the Engineering Function.
Prepared to undertake regular travel in the UK and overseas when required.

Requirements:

Will have an Engineering Degree (BEng, MEng, HND)
Must have experience with a highly regulated industry, ideally nuclear or defence.
Must be able to achieve SC / DV clearance
Must have experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
