Nursery Practitioner (Maternity Cover)
Location: Dudley
Contract: Maternity Cover January start
Hours: Full-time – 08:30 – 18:00

About the nursery:
ABC Teachers are partnering with a welcoming private day nursery that provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children from babies to pre-school. They are centered around fostering the development, well-being, and happiness of every child, while creating a supportive and teamworking environment for it’s staff members.

The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Practitioner to join us here at ABC to support on a maternity cover basis at our partnered nursery, starting in January. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and education to the nurseries children, working alongside their experienced team to ensure that each child receives the best possible start in life.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development.
Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment for the children.
Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child’s progress.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
Adhere to all nursery policies and safeguarding guidelines.
Supporting with toileting is essential in this setting
About You:

A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development.
Strong communication skills and a caring, approachable nature.
Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
