We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our operations team at a bustling manufacturing facility located just outside Leicester City Centre, easily accessible from Melton Mowbray, Loughborough, and Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
In this dynamic role, you'll provide technical support and drive continuous improvements in the manufacturing process of essential household products. Our company is committed to sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.
You'll collaborate closely with the technical team and operators to monitor and enhance processes, aiming to boost productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency
Main Responsibilities of a Manufacturing Production / Process Engineer
Develop process and improvements while monitoring capability and process
Root cause analyst solving quality, technical and safety concerns
Make improvement to increase capacity and reduce costs
Collaborate with the shift leaders to write the training programs for operators including flow charts
Identify with where production productivity can be made and implement changes
Preparation and modification of production procedures, and maintain manufacturing
kills required to be a Manufacturing Production / Process Engineer
Engineering Degree Ideally mechanical with a minimum of 2 years experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Experience of LEAN in manufacturing
A solid understanding of 5 WHY, root cause analysis
Sigma Six knowledge would also be desirable.
Benefits of this Manufacturing Production / Process Engineer
Monday – Friday
Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 17.00 pm
23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (This rises after two years of service)
