Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Job Description:

We are excited to welcome a Purchaser to our client’s team. This position is integral to the production process, ensuring that materials are sourced and procured efficiently and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate will be a diligent, hardworking professional who can thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

* Source and purchase materials necessary for business operations.

* Cost and schedule imported products via freight forwarders.

* Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth product flow and manufacturing processes.

* Perform additional assigned duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

* Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English Language and Mathematics.

* At least 1 year of experience in a purchasing role.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

* CIPS Procurement Training.

* Proven negotiating skills with the ability to purchase within budgeted limits.

* Ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.

* Understanding of product specifications and customer requirements.
