Experienced Document Controllers looking for an opportunity in the Newcastle area?
My client require an experienced Document Controller to lead their drawing control process. This role involves liaison with project teams and primary stakeholders to ensure the accurate flow of drawings and document control processes.
Main duties will be but not limited to:
To Support Document Control and Design teams to maintain project drawings and documentation via their Information Management System(s) Viewpoint for Projects (VfP). & Deltek Project Information Management (PIM)
Efficiently manage and distribute drawings and documents for multiple projects via Viewpoint for Projects to relevant parties and issue groups in accordance with company protocols
Conduct regular checks to ensure adherence to the QA process, highlighting any breaches
Liaising with project stakeholders to ensure information is being managed consistently across all projects, maintaining revision control and traceability of all documentation from project initiation, through to completion and handover
Providing training and support to all project stakeholders
