We have a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a large manufacturing company at the heart of the operation in Flint. This is a permanent opportunity for the right candidate with machine operating experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and monitor machines on the production floor.

* Pack, palletise, load lids, and replenish materials during production

* Maintain quality assurance by checking for defects and maintaining a clean and tidy work area.

* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

* Communicate with team members and supervisors in a respectful manner.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.

* Knowledge of packing, palletising, and machine operating.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.

* Knowledge of material replenishment in a production setting.

* Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

* Flexibility to adapt to changes in production demands.

* Commitment to health and safety practices.

* Excellent attention to detail to avoid unnecessary mistakes/costs

* Good understanding of production processes

Benefits

* Rate of pay: £12.50 during probationary period rising to £13.03 upon successful completion of probationary period / relevant training. (£27 391 Starting salary, £28 553 once trained)

* Pension - 3% employee 3% employer

* Holidays - the holiday year runs from 1st January - 31st December. Equivalent to 23 days plus bank holidays (please note the regular 6 day breaks within the pattern are in addition to the holidays mentioned)

* Life Assurance - twice annual basic pay. (rising to x3 after 5 years service)
