Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Position: Temp to Permanent
Salary: Competitive, DOE

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to contribute to a variety of projects with a focus on drainage, kerbs, service ducts, and earthworks.

Qualifications:

Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying works on-site, ensuring accurate measurements and alignment.
Preparation of site reports and records, maintaining compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
Overseeing and coordinating drainage systems, kerb installation, and service duct positioning.
Managing site clearance and earthworks, ensuring the project progresses on schedule and to specification.
Liaising with site management teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Ensuring safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer, specifically with drainage, kerbs, service ducts, site clearance, and earthworks.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
Proficient in using setting out equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS systems).
A good understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients.
Full UK driving license (as travel to site may be required).
