The Opportunity
Due to increased project expansion, our client is currently seeking to employ an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the ecology team based at Sizewell C, which is an exciting time to be involved in the next biggest nuclear project, moving towards achieving net zero future by 2050.

Salary will be dependent upon experience, but you will also be entitled to a wide range of benefits including 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, over double the statutory amount towards your pension and healthcare, as well as employee share scheme and many more benefits.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Supporting planning and delivery associated with the full life cycle delivery of contracts and packages.
Ensuring full and consistent compliance with all appropriate Ecology Standards is delivered.
Maintaining effective communications with all stakeholders, suppliers and teams. 
Responding to tender queries, meetings with suppliers, and if required providing input to tender technical reviews.
Managing and resolving issues within the contact or package in a timely manner.
Ensuring the List of Deliverables relating to the scope of work is delivered.You will have the following Qualifications and experience
Knowledge of HSE practices, including reviewing RAMs and conducting site inspections, is required.
Ideally, knowledge of the effect of Ecology constraints on construction would be beneficial, but not essential.
Experience in design and, or the delivery of projects.
Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.
You will have experience working with stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors and a working knowledge of planning methodologies.
Knowledge or experience of applying APM body of knowledge and OGC's Prince 2.
IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs – Word/Excel/Outlook and PowerPoint is essential for tracking and reporting progress.
Experience in Ecology projects isn't essential although a strong PM process background and solid commercial awareness are essential.
