About the Role

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Chemical Analysis Department. You will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations and shop-floor processes by collecting and analysing process solutions. This position requires precision, adherence to procedures, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct wet chemical analysis, including acid-base titrations, pH measurements, and sugar content testing.

* Prepare and standardize stock solutions.

* Perform trend analysis of process solutions and hydrogen testing.

* Calibrate laboratory and test equipment.

* Conduct copper sulfate testing and support chemical process audits.

* Maintain accurate records, data entry via LIMS, and stock control.

* Work closely with the onsite chemical service provider and support the HSE department as needed.

* Follow technical procedures meticulously.

* Provide flexible overtime support as required.

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience with titrations and solution preparation.

* Proficiency in calibrating laboratory equipment.

* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

* Competency in Microsoft Office applications.

* Experience in a NADCAP/ISO 17025 laboratory is desirable but not essential.

* Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
