Kenton Black Group are currently recruiting for a CNC Sliding Head Programmer for a growing Engineering firm based in Wolverhampton. Our client supplies their products internationally to a diverse array of sectors.

Day Shift: 07:30-16:30 Monday to Friday

CNC Sliding Head Programmer - The Role:

Programming and Operating various CNC Sliding Head Machines.
Producing high quality components.
Loading and unloading of parts.
Manual Inspection of parts using micrometers, verniers and callipers.

CNC Sliding Head Programmer - Skill Requirements:

Experience in Operating, Setting and Programming CNC Sliding Head Machines.
Experience with Star and Citizen Machines – Fanuc Controls.
Ability to read and interpret complex Engineering drawings.
Experience with machining of exotic materials.
Minimum of 2yrs working within a Precision Engineering Company.
High attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Apprentice trained (preferable).
