Position: CNC grinder

Type of work: permanent

Salary £32000 to £36000 per annum

Location: Staverton

Working hours:  39 Monday to Friday

We are now seeking to recruit CNC grinder for a manufacturing client based in Staverton. The appropriate CNC grinder would be responsible for setting and operating cylindrical and surface grinders, and other equipment within our busy Grinding department.

Candidate Requirements: CNC Grinder

CNC Grinding (Studer (Fanuc) / Jones & Shipman) programming & setting experience an advantage.
Manual Cylindrical and Surface Grinding including internal and external grinding.
A good understanding of engineering drawings.
Must be a proactive team player.
Grinding complex parts to tight tolerances.
Use various types of measuring equipment.
Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
Experience of small / medium size batch work an advantage.
Requirements:

Previous experience in setting and operating CNC and manual grinding machines.
Ability to self-inspect the parts
Ability and knowledge of grinding complex parts to tight tolerances.
Able to use various types of measuring equipment.
Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
