Hours - Monday to Friday 40hrs pw (hybrid working pattern)

Our Corby based client is recruiting an experienced and motivated Product Specialist on a permanent basis.  Working as part of a small marketing team you will be focusing on the development and commercialisation of medical-grade infection control products for healthcare and other professional industries. In this role, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring products meet rigorous industry standards, address customer needs, and drive company growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality, supply chain, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Enablement:

Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively sell products.
Participate in webinars to promote company products. 
Assisting internal teams and distributors with product related questions.
Develop sales collateral, presentations, and competitive battle cards to support sales efforts.
Conduct regular training sessions to keep sales teams informed about product features, benefits, and updates.Product Lifecycle Management

Manage product updates, including artwork and packaging.
Plan for product discontinuation with minimal disruption to supply chains and customers.
Work on the product development for new and existing products, overseeing design, testing, and validation in alignment with relevant requirements and standards.
Develop and manage the product roadmap, setting timelines and milestones for each stage of the product lifecycle.
Streamline and rationalise the product portfolio based on performance, compliance, and strategic priorities.Resource and Digital Asset Management

Regularly update and manage digital assets to align with product features & benefits.
Generate and participate in ideas for creating digital content.Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure product efficacy, quality, and compliance with relevant standards.
Work with regulatory affairs to navigate and document compliance, certification, and reporting.
Partner with sales and marketing teams to support effective go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and training materials.Product Launch and Performance Analysis

Develop launch plans, including pricing, distribution, and promotional strategies, to ensure successful market introduction.
Analyse product performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and product quality metrics, and use data to drive continuous improvements.
Provide product training and technical support to sales teams and distributor networks.Performance Analysis and Reporting

Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and product launches using metrics such as ROI.
Provide regular reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders to inform decision-making.
Identify areas for improvement and optimisation in marketing strategies and product offerings.Market and Customer Insights

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape. 
Gather feedback from customers, healthcare professionals, and other end-users to inform NPD and R&D and ensure alignment with their needs.About you ...

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the medical device, healthcare, or professional goods industry.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, lead product development processes, and deliver successful product launches.
Excellent multi-tasker with analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication skills with experience in delivering presentations & engaging content with key stakeholders.
