Job description:

On behalf of our client, one of the UK’s leading supermarkets, we are now recruiting for exceptional associates to join our team as Warehouse Operatives based in WF9.

This role includes a mix of picking goods to be delivered out to stores, using a scan gun or parcel sortation for their online orders.

This role includes lots of manual handling and moving around their large busy warehouse. You will be required to load, unload and move cages to different areas.

Shifts are available on a fixed 8 week cycle, so you will always know in advance when you are working.

Ideal skills and experience:   Some warehouse experience is preferable, but not necessary – you will learn on the job and all training will be provided. An eye for detail when checking goods.
Key responsibilities: As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will involve day to day responsibilities on a warehouse shop floor, including:

Ensuring that products are processed and handled correctly.
Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to meet customer demand.
Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Shifts: 2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am

Hours of work:

32 - 40 hours per week
4/7 or 5/7 working shifts per week on a rota basis
Rota issued 8 weeks in advance
