Health and Safety Manager – Carpentry Subcontractor

Our client is a specialist carpentry subcontractor, who operates in commercial and residential projects, with values ranging from £500k up to £8M. They offer both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry services with a focus on interiors and finishes.

Due to a very busy order book and positive outlook for 2025 and beyond, they are now searching for a full-time Health and Safety Manager to join the team. Our client has a Health and Safety Consultant in place and is looking to appoint you in this role full time.

Therefore, this presents a unique opportunity for you and the company as you can grow and develop into the Health and Safety Managers role, whilst leaning on the consultant whilst you bed into the company.

The opportunity for the Health and Safety Manager offers a huge variety in your day-to-day activities as the position is split between sites (all within M25) and the office in Ruislip. You will assist the site teams with writing up Risk Assessments and Method statements, and ensure Health and Safety is being followed strictly on site, as well as bring fresh ideas to the tendering process with Quality, Environmental and sustainability issues.

Our client requires that you come from a carpentry background, have worked in Health and Safety for an interiors subcontractor and hold a current NEBOSH in Construction.
