Our client is a well-established, impactful organisation dedicated to supporting and advocating for employees' rights. They work with various sectors to ensure fair practices and a positive workplace culture. With a focus on employee welfare and advocacy, they are now seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join their growing HR team.
General duties:
Use social media and digital communications to promote recruitment campaigns, to internal and external audiences.
Assist with the management of the application process though the online recruitment portal.
Ensure delivery of effective procedures for employees at transitional stages of employment, including contractual documents and all aspects of employee benefits.
Administer monthly payroll processes for new starters, leavers and movers.
Assist with booking and organising training courses and events and preparation of course materials and documentation (for in-house courses).
Preparation of documentation for employee hearings and Committee meetings including note taking.
Maintain and update the HR systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date data on shared drive.
Process relevant personal data and maintain the HR database to ensure that user needs are met, that data is up-to-date and that accurate reports are provided on request.
Establish and maintain appropriate and up to date filing systems (both paper-based and electronic) to ensure the secure retention and rapid retrieval of HR information in line with GDPR.
Provide efficient administrative support to the HR office, including managing incoming and outgoing communications and processing invoices.
Assist the HR function with the servicing of various meetings (e.g. Job Evaluation, committee, and disciplinary meetings), including producing clear well written minutes and collation of papers.We practice a diverse and inclusive recruitment process that ensures equal opportunity for all we work with, irrespective of race, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age or gender.
