At DK Recruitment we are currently looking for a Barrier Guard to work for our Devonport Dockyards based client for an ongoing contract.

You will be undertaking the following:

The role of a Barrier Guard is to set up and maintain safe boundaries around radiography sites. The Barrier Guard will ensure areas are clear before setting up physical barriers and maintaining them during radiography. Due to the nature of the task the role is permanent night shift and is on a 10 on 4 off working pattern. Successful applicants will need to be physically fit, have a positive approach to Health & Safety and will comply with company PPE standards.

Applications are welcome from candidates with the following:

Willingness to work continuous night shift.

* Knowledge of submarine/warship layout preferred but not essential.

* Good communication & interpersonal skills.

* Can work in teams and use own initiative.

You will need to undertake and hold Security clearance for this position. UK Nationals only
