We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Painter & Decorator to join a leading facilities management provider on a prestigious commercial contract in the heart of the City of London. This is a static role in a state-of-the-art office building that houses high-end corporate clients with exacting standards. You will play a key part in maintaining the immaculate appearance of the interior environment and supporting the soft maintenance team with general decoration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out interior painting and decorating to a high finish across office floors, meeting rooms, reception areas and communal spaces
Undertake touch-ups, full repaints, surface preparation, wall lining, filling, sanding, and repairs as needed
Apply paint, varnishes, and wallpaper in line with design and brand specifications
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard with minimal disruption to clients
Liaise with the facilities team and on-site management to plan and prioritise workloads
Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of work areas at all times
Conduct condition inspections of surfaces and walls and report any defects
Adhere to all health & safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and materials
Maintain stock of paints, materials, and decorating tools
Occasionally support with light fabric maintenance tasks if required
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as a Painter/Decorator in a commercial or high-end environment
Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
Strong understanding of preparation and application techniques
Good communication skills and a client-facing approach
