TeacherActive has been working with a fantastic Primary School in Maidstone who are now looking for a experienced SEND Teacher to join its passionate team of educators.

The Primary School are looking for a SEND Teacher to teach a group of 15-17 students with Autism, at the School’s Specialist Resource Provision.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a SEND Teacher to nurture and support children in an Ofsted rated, “good” school. We encourage Primary Teachers with SEND Experience to apply, particularly those that have worked with Children with ASD requirements before.

The Ideal SEND Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience working with children with SEND Requirements
Preferably experience as working as an SEND Teacher, Primary and Secondary Teachers with SEND experience will still be considered
Preferably experience working with Children with ASD requirements
Excellent Classroom Management
