Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £80 - £100 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialised SEND schools based in the Darlington area who are looking to recruit teaching assistants on a temporary or long-term basis. The schools we work with all have specialised areas and you must be able to adapt to a changing environment.   

We are looking for passionate Teaching with SEND experience, on a temporary or long-team basis. The successful applicant will be working with SEND pupils with various needs. The successful teaching assistant will be working with pupils of all ages, helping the teacher with everyday classroom duties and working on a 1:1 basis with pupils.

The successful teaching assistant will have:

Relevant qualifications or experience within teaching assistance.
Excellent behavioural management skills.
Experience working within a SEND environment.
Experience working in both a one-to-one setting and small groups
