An exciting opportunity has become available for a Head of Operations, to lead a pioneering team on their large-scale manufacturing site! The Head of Operations will play a vital role, in promoting best practice and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on site and setting up the operational strategy to develop efficiency & drive performance. They will lead the manufacturing team to achieve the company goals by implementing continuous improvement tools and driving change!

The ability to demonstrate managerial experience within a complex manufacturing environment, working closely with the rest the Senior leaders from other departments such as Supply Chain, Quality, Health and Safety and other Senior Leadership Team members.
Showcase organisational skills including efficient planning and implementation of systems and procedures, including lean / continuous improvement activities, health and safety, and quality systems.
Ensure the compliance with specifications, deadlines and budgets, achievement of project goals and compliance with safety, environmental, health and quality standards and project reporting.
To plan, co-ordinate and manage the OPEX / CAPEX budget, to align with technical projects for the site.
Leadership and people management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the team culture.
The ability to implement structured problem-solving techniques, provide solutions and delegate responsibility.Qualifications required for Head of Operations:

Hold a degree in relevant Engineering discipline (or equivalent).
The ability to demonstrate vast industry experience, highlighting production or operations management in a lean manufacturing environment with the ability to demonstrate continuous improvement.
Proven experience of Leadership and Management of a mixed skilled team.
