Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer – 4 nights Sunday to Thursday 8pm to 6 am  
Dudley

Our Client seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer who will service and manage the mechanical and electrical engineering of our machinery this includes CNC, Lasers, Saws, Machine Tools.

Duties include

Routine maintenance of equipment
Fault prevention
Fault finding and repair of equipment and services. 
Installations
Assist in the development of processes and making recommendations on improvements and care  
Analyse equipment failures and suggest cost effective improvements.
Support the development and implementation of PPM schedules and operating procedures. 
Work with the operators  on procedures and train the operators to carry out basic maintenance on the machines.
Offering a high level of support and service on the night shift

Package/work hours

£42-45,000 per annum plus night shift allowance
4-night working week Sunday to Thursday 8pm to 6 am
5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays

Requirements

Successful track record as a maintenance engineer
Electrical qualification
Specific experience of working in Machinery Maintenance in a heavy industry background with a strong electrical bias
A background in fault finding/ rectification & competent mechanically, with experience of hydraulics & Conveyoring systems.
