Are you an experienced Welding Chargehand looking for your next challenge? Langfields, a leading fabrication company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Working Welding Chargehand to join our team at our Dunfermline facility.

About the Role

As a Working Welding Chargehand, you will play a key role in overseeing welding operations while actively contributing to fabrication work. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality welding of stainless and carbon steel pipework for the oil & gas industry. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring both technical expertise and the ability to supervise and mentor a team of welders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leading and supervising a team of welders, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.

* Welding stainless and carbon steel pipework to industry specifications.

* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

* Coordinating workload distribution and supporting project deadlines.

* Conducting inspections and quality checks on welded components.

* Liaising with supervisors and project managers to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Welding Chargehand or in a similar supervisory role.

* Strong welding experience in stainless and carbon steel pipework, ideally within the oil & gas industry.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures.

* Knowledge of welding codes and industry standards.

* Strong I.T skills and able/willing to communicate in detail via email.

* Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support team members.

* Commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance.
