Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Type: Full time or part time (Part-time days would be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Salary: £90-£100 P/D PAYE

Location: Bedford

Tradewind are currently working closely with a mainstream Primary School in Bedford who are looking for an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to join them as soon as possible.

This modern school benefits from state of the art facilities, a strong SLT team and children who come to school every day with a keen desire to learn.

Your role will consist of general support across Key Stage 1 and Early Years with extra responsibility for running interventions and small group work. Any knowledge of Little Wandle Phonics would be extremely beneficial for this role.

What do we look for in a Primary Teaching Assistant?

A genuine interest in childcare and working with children
Experience running small groups and interventions with a strong focus on differentiating work where appropriate
An ability to engage children effectively
