We are currently hiring for a field-based Commissioning Engineer/Technician to perform fault finding and commission Passenger Boarding Bridges and related equipment at airports across various client sites.
Your Mission and Responsibilities:
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will ensure all equipment and facilities at client sites are installed correctly, safely, and function as expected.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct testing and deliver functional systems according to project scope.
* Follow the companies Commissioning processes to ensure systems are properly tested and delivered.
* Train customers on how to use products at both operator and maintainer levels.
* Oversee the handover process to the customer.
* Travel nationwide (including Ireland) and internationally as required.
* Offer operational improvements and advice.
* Create and implement test procedures.
* Diagnose and resolve faults and problems.
* Liaise with clients and installation/project engineers.
* Supervise engineering and technical teams.
* Analyze performance and safety data.
* Write reports and documentation.
* Provide technical support.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Time-served Electrical Engineering experience.
* Experience with PLC controls and HMI systems.
* PLC software experience is an advantage.
* Strong technical knowledge.
* Previous knowledge of the airport sector is a plus.
* Full UK Driving License is required.

* 5-year continuous satisfactory references (required for airside pass).
