Construction Project Manager - £50-£60k DOE + £7k Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

Experience in Managing Commercial / Industrial Construction Projects

Based Daventry – with Project Based Mainly in the South of the UK

5D are delighted to be working with a well established and very well respected consultancy business who specialize in the project management of large scale industrial and commercial construction projects.

They are experts at managing a complete process from land identification, commercial negotiations, right through to the pre-construction, and construction phases, and are also the appointed fund managers for a number of their key clients.

Established for nearly 20 years, and due to sustained growth they are looking to increase the capacity and capability of project management team.

What the Role will Involve:

* Getting involved with clients right at the start of the project to understand and get the full scope and understanding of a project, which will be the basis of the project plan.

* Developing the project plan, communicating and agreeing with internal and external stakeholders.

* Liaising with all stakeholders in the project process, including clients, consultants, contractors, planning officers, architects, fund managers etc, as well as internal stakeholders including the commercial team, QS’s etc.

* Reviewing and analysing documentation, both commercial and technical to spot potential issues or discrepancies.

* Being involved in project review meetings, and ensuring you are well prepared before going into meetings.

* Conducting and attending site visits and project progression meetings.

* Any other standard project management duties.

What we are Looking for in the Successful Candidate:

* 2-3 years’ experience in a project management / project engineering environment.

* We are looking for someone who has gained their experience in an industrial or commercial environment.

* Degree qualified in a relevant subject.

* Someone who is keen to learn and develop who wants to become a fully-fledged project manager.

* Clear, confident communicator, with a proactive approach to projects and problem solving.
