About the Role

The Fabrication Engineer will maintain the structural integrity of the Rogerstone site by handling fabrication, welding, and repair tasks for key facility components.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and repair key structural elements such as walls, ceilings, and industrial fridge doors
Perform welding and fitting for structural repairs across the site
Install and maintain steel cladding and cold room panels
Repair large sliding industrial doors, including worn-out rails and damaged seals
Undertake general maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall upkeep of the facility

About You

We're looking for a hands-on, experienced Fabrication Engineer with a background in steelwork, cladding, and welding. Experience working in high-volume production environments, particularly with industrial fridge doors or cold rooms, will be highly beneficial.

Key Skills

Experience in fabrication or engineering roles, particularly with steel and cladding
Welding skills and experience in structural repairs are highly advantageous
Familiarity with cold rooms and industrial fridge doors is beneficial
Comfortable working on rotating shifts (Mon-Fri) and occasional weekend work
Ability to troubleshoot and repair structural components independently

Working Hours

Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 (weekly rotation)
