Counterbalance FLT / Picking from Pick Lists

£12.29 per hour + Overtime at Enhanced Rates + Bonus

Minimum 9 Month Contract – Based Near Stamford

5D Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a leading bespoke machinery manufacture. Their products are predominately used in the power generation and automotive sectors.

Due to a sustained period of growth, and a commitment to introducing new products and to drive efficiency within the current assembly operation we are looking to recruit an Engineering & Warehouse Operative.

This role is initially offered on a minimum 9 month contract, with the real possibility that this will be extended well beyond. Overtime is available and paid at premium rates.

What the role will involve for the Engineering Warehouse Operative:

* Using the FLT to load and unload lorries, and to get parts or components from the store’s locations.

* Working from the pick list to ascertain parts and components.

* Assist the fitters with lifting components when needed.

* Checking deliveries against the delivery notes.

* Putting deliveries away in the correct locations.

* Wrapping and packing any equipment for delivery and helping load the lorries.

Requirements

* What we are looking for in the Engineering & Warehouse Operative:

* Engineering stores or Warehouse experience.

* Experience operating a Counterbalance FLT.
