1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: Cardiff, CF14
Position: Part-Time
Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to work in a local primary school, providing one-to-one support for a pupil with ADHD who exhibits challenging behaviours. The scheduled hours are structured to ensure that the pupil receives focused support, so it is essential that applicants can commit to the hours listed.
Ideal Candidate:
This role is well-suited to individuals with personal or professional experience managing challenging behaviours, who can bring both patience and structure to the learning environment. Consistency is crucial for the success of this position, so please apply only if you can commit to maintaining a stable presence for the pupil.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage and support the pupil, helping them remain comfortable and focused during lessons.
Provide personal care as needed.
Implement effective strategies to manage challenging behaviours appropriately.
Participate in relevant training and courses as required to maintain effective support.
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS clearance.
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). (Assistance available if needed.)
Relevant experience in SEN, either personal or professional, is highly valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
