Do you have experience as a Bid Coordinator, or Bid Writer, and looking for your next challenge? Or have you recently finished university and are looking for the first step in your career?

Are you self-motivated and organised, with excellent writing skills, a high attention for detail and the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders?

If so, you’ve got the skills to be considered for our Bid Writer position:

Job title: Bid Writer.
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday-Friday.
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 p.a. DOE plus £2,500 OTE commission.
Location: You will be working hybrid between our friendly and welcoming Portsmouth office and working from home.

As Bid Writer you will be an integral part of the Sales department, playing a key role in achieving our objective of being a strategic supply partner of choice. You will be responsible for writing and proof-reading compelling bids and tenders which help us to win new business and strengthen and extend partnerships with current clients. Your work will directly contribute to our aim of being recognised as trusted cleaning and hygiene experts.

You will build a good rapport with technical experts in the business to get the information needed for the tender process and build and maintain a comprehensive bid library of answers. Your ability to collaborate and communicate effectively will be key to ensuring that our bids reflect our expertise and value as a strategic partner.

When you’re not busy writing and proof-reading, you will put your excellent administrative skills to good use, supporting the bid and sales teams with inputting data onto our CRM system, creating reports for the Head of Sales and managing the collation of sales documentation.
