This role is an exciting opportunity to join us and work within our Group Procurement team. As a Procurement Manager, you will be assisting with the strategic sourcing direction for Enterprise Software related spend categories within Sky’s Group Procurement function which operates across Sky Group and now also Comcast/NBCU. The role will involve interaction with other departments at a global and local level including various Technology areas, Finance and Legal.
What you'll do:
* Working with the Global Software and Content Licensing Procurement team to assess and deliver against Group Procurement objectives across the Group including Sky / Comcast / NBCU.
* Supporting the team and helping to deliver local and group wide deals across diverse geographies including key markets USA, UK, Italy and Germany.
* Contribute to Procurement strategies for the agreed Software categories.
* Owning and leading data gathering and analytics for the team on spend information, contract data, market analysis and other required data and reports.
* Build and maintain key partner relationships, with appropriate regular communication, ensuring clear understanding and alignment between their strategic technology plans and Procurement’s direction.
* Able to handle critical issue processes across matrix teams to ensure there is good alignment.
* Be able to produce deal documents summaries, quality presentations and reports on a regular basis at a CFO and Procurement Director level, demonstrating a flexible approach to driving financial and non-financial benefits to all business areas.
* Provide strategic commercial input to a broad range of initiatives, including Sky-wide cost-saving programmes.
* Through collaborating closely with the appropriate business areas, be willing to own negotiations with suppliers driving the most benefit to Sky.
* Understand the factors and challenges faced in the IT industry and be able to use this knowledge to introduce innovation and challenge current business processes.
What you'll bring:
* Proven Procurement experience specifically including the development of category plans and the data analysis to feed into the plans.
* Procurement processes, knowledge and experience of running sourcing activities including RFPs and large scale renewals.
* Good understanding of Sky, our platforms and products, and the wider driven context within which the Sky business operates.
* Experience of working in an analyst role and within a procurement team.
* Experience in a global / pan-European function, leading varying demands and needs within a single project.

Your office base:
Osterley:
We work in a hybrid way with 3 days in the office and 2 at home. With such a large campus, there is a huge buzz on the site along with a lot of face-face collaboration which is why we feel it is important for people to be spend a few days in the office then a couple of days at home. Within that there is a lot of flexibility as to when you start/end the day.
Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.
