Day Rate: £450 - £525 Day
Contract: 12 months

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a long-term opportunity in the Southwest? We are recruiting for a key role on a highways project near exeter, an exciting infrastructure scheme that will enhance transport links and sustainable travel routes in the region.
The Project:
The project involves the construction of an 850m two-way carriageway with two connecting roundabouts, The project also includes a shared pedestrian and cycle path, improving connectivity for commuters and residents while supporting future sustainable transport plans around the local area.
The Role:
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of this project and other ongoing works under LOT 3 Gen 5 Framework with Devon County Council. You will be responsible for:
✅ Managing the financial performance of the project, ensuring cost control and budget management.
✅ Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, valuations, and variations.
✅ Overseeing subcontractor procurement, payments, and contract administration.
✅ Working closely with the project team, client, and stakeholders to ensure commercial success.
✅ Reporting on financial progress and risk management.
Requirements:
? Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
? Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and public sector frameworks.
? Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
? Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive commercial outcomes.
? Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
