About Us: Our client is a global leader in the automotive industry, renowned for their cutting-edge innovation and commitment to quality. As they continue to grow and embrace new challenges, they are seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team and play a critical role in maintaining their world-class standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Customer, Supplier & Internal Relations: Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

* Project Development Support: Define quality control methods and gauging systems, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and project goals.

* Control Plan Development & Audits: Develop and maintain robust Control Plans, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures, ISO9001, IATF16949, and VDA6.3.

* Quality Concerns Resolution: Address and support current production quality concerns, leading cross-functional teams in 8D investigations to drive effective solutions.

* Quality KPI Management: Communicate Quality KPI-related information to both internal and external stakeholders.

* Customer Portal Administration: Manage and update customer portals with quality metrics and problem-solving documentation.

* Statistical & MSA Analysis: Conduct thorough statistical analysis of processes and MSA studies to ensure continuous improvement.

* New Product Introduction (NPI): Support NPI activities, ensuring alignment with quality standards and business objectives.

* IMDS Reporting: Create and submit IMDS reports in compliance with industry requirements.

* Ad-Hoc Investigations: Lead additional quality investigations as required to maintain our clients high standards.

Knowledge & Skills:

* Solid background in quality engineering within the automotive sector.

* Proficient in APQP and PPAP processes.

* Experienced in automotive manufacturing, with a focus on EV harness manufacturing being a plus.

* Strong grasp of 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Lean Manufacturing techniques.

* In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.

* Expertise in customer warranty processes and quality systems best practices.

* Computer literate, with a working knowledge of IMDS, customer portals, and quality metrics.

* Full driving license.

* Strong influencer with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work independently and coach others.

* Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
