The Opportunity
Are you ready to kick-start your career within an industrial manufacturing environment?
As we now have a really exciting opportunity for our expanding Engineering function onsite at our Cauldon Cement Manufacturing Plant. Joining as a Graduate Mechanical Planner you’ll work on critical engineering high impact projects. In this strategic engineering role, you’ll make pivotal decisions around plant maintenance and prioritisation to help keep our plant operational.
You’ll have opportunities to travel globally to build your experience within the Cement industry at our plants all across the world. Continuous development is a key part for our workforce, and this position is no different, you’ll develop your skills onsite and build further qualifications through our global training platforms.
Covering Monday-Friday days as part of a team of Mechanical Planners, you’ll be responsible for a truly varied set of manufacturing equipment in our Cement Plant from our kiln and packaging plant to our adjoining quarry. Plus, expansions planned onsite to further our sustainable goals you’ll get exposure with new state of the art equipment in this field.
You’ll be in regular contact with Mechanical Inspectors and Senior Engineers to discuss the maintenance requirements onsite. Receiving reports from Inspectors outlining the various faults onsite, you’ll utilise your technical understanding to prioritise the work for our Mechanical Maintenance team onsite.
Who you are
You’ll have a technical mindset and an academic background to prove this with a Mechanical Engineering degree or a degree within a similar field.
You’ll be PC literate, our work is completed through SAP. So, some exposure to this would be beneficial.
You’ll be naturally organised with experience prioritising tasks when facing multiple deadlines.
