The role

Orbit are delighted to announce that we are recruiting for a Project & Monitoring Coordinator to sit within our Impact and Performance team, to join us on a 12 month contract. This team is central to the provision of robust insights that underpin the success of our customer support programme (Better Days) which is delivered with the support of national and local partners e.g. Mind and Citizens Advice.

The purpose of the role is to track, measure and report on the social impact metrics of all Better Days projects, ensuring that impact and evaluation insights are used to drive service improvement and innovation through reporting.

The successful candidate will have a strong determination to be part of a high performing team, that brings skills and energy to showcase the impact of our purpose driven projects.

What you'll achieve

In this role you will demonstrate a passion for monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the impact of our customer support projects using critical thinking and strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills. In addition to a proactive approach, a can-do attitude and a growth mindset, you will have an aptitude to transform project reporting into engaging insights that will support and inform decision making whilst communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, influencing decisions using quality standard trends analysis.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Contribute to the production of high-quality monthly & quarterly impact reports, and benchmarking for internal and external audiences using qualitative and quantitative analysis and insights.
Support the Impact and Performance Team Lead with the development. implementation and upkeep of robust monitoring and evaluation processes.
Support Colleagues from the Thriving Communities team to undertake and deliver activities to high standards of impact and compliance. Where necessary, provide guidance to colleagues on impact requirements e.g. impact and social value outcome measures.
Review and provide feedback to relevant project managers on all customer support data monthly and quarterly reports (claim forms) from Better Days internal and external partners.
Monitor and track the compliance of all Better Days projects and report any risks identified to the relevant project manager and senior management team.What you'll bring

To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience of:

Essential skills

Demonstrable experience of qualitative and quantitative impact reports and the ability to interpret complex information for a range of audiences.
Advanced user of MS Excel and have considerable experience with statistical/data interpretation.
A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to engage and work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently and act on initiative where appropriate.
Ability to review and interpret data and provide meaningful and credible insights on short term results and long-term trends.
Ability to apply creative solutions to complex problems, and the ability to think critically about monitoring, evaluation and learning.Desirable skills

Degree level or equivalent relevant experience in an evaluation or social impact role within the housing sector.
Experience in designing and implementing new systems, databases, and procedures.
Strong influencing skills to ensure that insight is at the heart of business decisions.
