Duties:

Work from detailed procedures, drawings, documents, change notes, schematics, oral and written instructions.
Work and rework assemblies including soldering & unsoldering, wiring & crimping, drilling, filing & cutting, detailed rework of printed circuit assemblies, and application of mastic & adhesives.
Check and inspect own and others work, including proactive troubleshooting and problem solving.
Participate with the creation of SOPs etc.
Raise defect reports and utilise the company business data management system.
Create and work in a team environment while implementing continuous improvements and ensuring the highest quality.
Skills and Experience required:

Experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Must have an analytical approach to problem solving.
Previous experience of rework and assembly to a high standard.
Must be proactive with strong team skills and excellent attention to detail.
PC literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
Experience of working in a cellular manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
Radar knowledge would be ideal however not essential.
Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling/lifting on a regular basis
strong numeracy and literacy skills.
Due to the nature of the business you will be required to be a British Citizen with 10 years traceable history
