A Façade Draughtsman / Draughtsperson is required for a specialist design company in West Yorkshire. This role is office based, working in a busy and highly experienced small team. You will design from architectural client requirements, the technical façade drawings for the aluminium and glass products of commercial builds.

Being highly experienced with AUTOCAD Design, you will create approval drawings for architects on Technal, Kawneer ,Schuco and SAS glazing systems.
Main duties:
* Create accurate and timely 2D AUTOCAD drawings and occasional 3D Revit glazing.
* Regular communications and meeting attendance with external parties including: Main Contractors, Architects, Structural Engineers, Facade Consultants and Product Supplier and Design Workshops
* This is a challenging role where you will have set projects to draw on your schedule whilst working as a team to support completion deadlines and checking each other’s work at set stages.
* Working to specific deadlines and project milestones, liaising with internal parties for changes and challenges.
* Maintain an up-to date knowledge of the relevant Building Regulations, Design Standards and Product Standards.
Working hours are contracted at 8:15 till 5 Monday to Thursday and an early finish on Fridays, this is an office based role, this busy team do not stay after hours, so you can enjoy a great work life balance! Based close to the M62 in West Yorkshire there is of course free parking and great transport connections from Wakefield, Huddersfield, Leeds and Bradford.
