KS1 PRIMARY TEACHER REQUIRED - Newcastle -under-Lyme

Full class responsibilities Academics are seeking a motivated and experienced Year 1 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Newcastle-under-Lyme for a one-term assignment starting in January. You'll take on full teaching responsibilities for a Year 1 class of 25 pupils, including 3 children with SEND, with excellent support from a dedicated teaching assistant.

This is a wonderful opportunity to make an impact in a supportive school environment with well-resourced facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum, adapting to meet the diverse needs of the class.
Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring that each child is given the opportunity to succeed.
Planning and marking aswell as attending some staff meetings on Monday'sAbout You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally with a Year 1 class.
Experience working with SEND pupils and a strong commitment to inclusive teaching.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils and colleagues.
Flexibility and resilience to adapt in a supply role while maintaining high teaching standards.What We Offer:
