Job Title: Recruitment Consultant – Tech Industry
Location: Cheltenham or Bristol (Office-Based – Must be able to commute to the office)
Salary: From £26,000 base up to £60,000 base (depending on experience), plus commission and bonuses
Overview:
I am looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team in the thriving tech industry. With opportunities available in Cheltenham and Bristol, this is a fantastic chance for individuals with a tech recruitment background, or those interested in transitioning into this fast-paced sector. You will be responsible for building your own client base, sourcing top talent for leading tech companies, and achieving strong billings. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate proof of billings at interview.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Development: Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients in the tech sector. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industry.
* Candidate Sourcing & Engagement: Source, screen, and attract qualified candidates for a wide range of tech roles. Utilise multiple channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
* Consultative Sales: Offer expert insights to clients on hiring trends, salary expectations, and best practices, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
* Candidate Screening & Interviewing: Conduct interviews and thorough assessments to ensure the best cultural and technical fit for your clients.
* Negotiation & Closing: Manage the full recruitment process, including salary negotiations, offer management, and closing the deal.
* Billings & Performance: Achieve and exceed recruitment targets and KPIs. Proof of your previous billing history will be required during the interview process.
* Relationship Management: Build long-lasting relationships with clients and candidates, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Key Requirements:
* Proven recruitment experience, ideally within the tech sector. Open to candidates with any tech recruitment background, whether generalist or specialised.
* Strong business development skills with a proven track record of generating new business.
* Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed recruitment targets and billing goals.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Highly motivated, resilient, and driven to succeed in a competitive environment.
* Ability to manage a busy workload while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
* Strong relationship-building skills with both clients and candidates.
* Must be able to commute to the office in Cheltenham or Bristol.
