As an NEC Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering the SEALR Project for Buckinghamshire Council, ensuring that the construction quality meets the specifications outlined in the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC). You will work collaboratively with contractors and the wider contract administration team to ensure adherence to testing and certification requirements, promoting best practices, and observing daily operations for compliance with specifications. This role involves organising and inspecting covered works, agreeing on defect resolutions with contractors, and ensuring timely defect closure. You will also oversee health and safety practices on-site, report safety issues, and attend project meetings. A strong understanding of the MCHW - Specification for Highway Works and experience in highways and bridge sectors are essential. On-site presence is required throughout the project duration.
Skills:
NEC4 ECC Supervisor Accreditation
Experience in highway and bridge construction
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proactive problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage and resolve defects efficiently
Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Experience in leading supervision and technical teams
Competence in record management and app-based systems
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Driving Licence and site accessibility
