Position: Teaching Assistant (Adhoc Basis)
Location: Secondary Schools across Coventry

We are looking for dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistants to work on an adhoc basis across secondary schools in Coventry. If you have experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant, and are looking for a flexible role where you can make a positive impact on students’ education, then we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to students with varying learning needs.

Assist in small group teaching to boost students’ confidence and academic progress.

Support classroom activities and help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement appropriate learning strategies.

Assist with student behaviour management and encourage active participation in lessons.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school setting.

A good understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs (SEN) or learning difficulties.

Ability to support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
