Core Subject Tutor - Outreach Tutor

Prospero Teaching is looking for an English Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to a young person that will need extra support in English, Maths an Science.

You must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in their education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

We will work with you to monitor the progression with each pupil and support effective learning.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location - In and around the North London area
Position - Core subject Tutor
Start date - Immediately
Duration / Likely Duration - Currently ongoing
Contract type - Temporary
Full time/part time - Part time
Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25 per hour
Hours - Flexible

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, or PGCE is mandatory
6 months+ experience working in a UK school or teaching the UK Curriculum
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
