Job Title: Year 5 Teacher

Location: Roehampton

Contract Type: Part time (Wed-Fri), fixed term contract. January 2024 to July 2024.

Salary: £186.73 to £276.89 p/day

Start date: 8th January 2024, with a handover period before Christmas

About the school:

anzuk is collaborating with a Roehampton Primary school to find a full-time Year 5 Teacher to join them in January 2024. The school is a culturally diverse three-form entry school and forms a cluster of schools with two other local primary schools. They embed a focus of language and culture throughout the curriculum.

Year 5 Teacher Job Description:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
Responsible for two classes of children as they rotate on a weekly basis.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and creativity
Conduct assessments, provide timely feedback, and track student progress
Implement effective behaviour management strategies
Establishing strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to facilitate effective communication and collaboration The Ideal Year 5 Teacher will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Hold a recent and clear Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
Demonstrate a track record of successful experience working with primary-aged students
Have the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, showcasing your ability to meet the unique challenges of this group
Embody patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of students, particularly those with diverse behavioural needs Benefits of this role:
