Delivery Driver
We are recruiting for a delivery driver for our central London customer route. Our drivers play a key role in ensuring the customer receives their delivery in a friendly manner and on time. A typical day will include approx. 20-30 drops, delivering office and workplace supplies. Goods are deliveried to the delivery entrance, reception or to the relevant floor of the business.
Before leaving for your drops you will separate your orders delivered to HO by our wholesaler and then load the van with the orders assigned to you. Your day may also include collecting ‘returns' from customers.
Van checks also need to be completed before you leave for the day.
Our customer services team at Head Office are your point of contact during the day should you experience any issues and they can call the customer on your behalf when necessary.
A van and company insurance will be provided and our delivery tracking software is used to view your drops and confirm when the goods have been delivered taking a name and a photo.
Experience and Person Attributes
* 2 years’ experience in a delivery driver role
* Fit and able to load items onto the van
* Friendly, polite and with a flexible nature
* Team player
