Vision for Education have an exciting opportunity for a teacher will a keen interest in teaching mixed classes to join as a mixed YR2/3 Teacher at a popular small village primary school just outside scunthorpe from January 2025. This position is on a full-time basis with full class teacher responsibilities, including planning.
About the role
You will be an excellent teacher ensuring high standards of learning for all children. You will be creative, empathetic to the needs of individual children, resilient, adaptable and a team player. It is essential as part of a small school you will have flexibility and willingness to contribute. This teaching role would suit anyone in the early stages of their career with a keen interest in teaching mixed classes across both KS1 and KS2, or a more experience teacher with previous experience teaching mixed classes. If you have the ability to lead one or more subjects, this would be desirable. In return the school can offer a supportive team, excellent CPD and children who are happy, thriving and willing to learn.

Requirements
The desired Year 2/3 Teacher (YR2/3) will have;
Experience teaching Year 2 or Year 3 - ideally both
Have experience or be comfortable teaching mixed year groups across two key stages
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have strong behaviour management strategies
The ability to work effectively as part of a small team
Be willing to get stuck in and support the school in any areas in which support is needed, such as extra-curricular activities and subject leadership
Have strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
